This orphanage houses 50 children between the ages of 3 and 10 years. Every weekend KIS students play games with the little ones, read to them, do maintenance work and gardening. Recently the students helped to repair the plumbing, plant the kitchen garden and distributed toys (spinning tops for the boys and dolls for the girls) and sweaters donated by Mrs. Agarwal (Pearl’s mother). Students are planning a carnival to raise funds for better bedding and other infrastructure.
