create awarness about heritage sights in Karnataka so that we can work together to protect and preserve the wonderous beauty and richness of Indian culture and heritage.

We are planning to take a group of students to Mysore and from there we will be travelling to Somanathapur (35 Kms east) which is a famous village which has the 13th century Hoysala Temple. The temple is in excellent condition has frescoed exteriors with episodes from the epics. We will also be visiting Srirangapatna (fort and palace of Tipu Sutan). From Mysore we will move to Bandipur (80 Kms from Mysore) to the Bandipur national Park which is a wide life sanctuary. From there we will return to Bangalore and then back to Kodai.
