Students will explore the backwaters of Kerala in a house-boat and investigate the culture of this vibrant and colorful state.

Anna Thavalam where elephants are trained, shopping trips , sightseeing including the Chinese fishing nets and the Jewish synagogue etc are also on the agenda.

From Cochin to Alleppey by house boat and Kumarakom then from there to Thekkady wild life sanctuary, Munnar and back to Kodaikanal. Kathakkalli [the Kerala folk dance form and Kallaripayattu [the famous ancient Kerala martial art] will also be on the tour schedule. Ayurvedic massages and exotic Kerala food spice up this exciting field trip.
